Pepe the Frog has become a symbol synonymous with the Internet and mean culture whether it be through conveying emotions telling jokes expressing political beliefs or even taking on more humanoid appearances.

There`s a much deeper mythological meaning within this frog a meaning which may have been prophesied by ancient cultures and texts throughout History.

The eerie similarities between Pepe the Frog and a number of historically significant writings and depictions all of which seem to be pieces of a larger puzzle which is slowly revealing itself to us.

Kek was adopted as another popular meme in the mid to late 2000s but it`s only recently resurfaced and regained a lot of popularity.

Things really started getting interesting when the convergence of both Pepe and Kek on image boards created what is known as The Cult of Kek while Pepe the Frog and Kek seem to be nothing more than harmless references to modern day entertainment, the cult of Kek is actually based on a mythological figure from ancient Egypt the god known as Heqet

Followers of Kek, a deity from ancient Egyptian mythology, are often free-spirited users of the website 4chan, particularly the /pol/ message board. Each post made by users is assigned a unique number, but due to the high volume of posts, the last digits are essentially random.

Occasionally, users will `roll`` by posting to predict certain events or outcomes, with repeating digits often signifying some form of truth. The number seven is particularly revered, symbolizing luck, divinity, and truth.

As the 2016 U.S. presidential election approached, 4chan was rife with Pepe and Kek references, along with numerous prediction and role threads.

One thread predicted that Trump would win the election, and the post`s ID was a perfect string of sevens. Against all odds, this prediction came true, leading many to believe in the prophetic power of Kek.

The number seven also appears in other instances related to Kek and Pepe. For example, the cities of Pepe in Italy and Kek in Hungary are said to be exactly 777 miles apart, although this distance varies slightly depending on the method of calculation.

Ancient texts, such as the Bible and the Torah, also play a role in this story. The second plague of Egypt involved frogs swarming people and officials, which some followers of Kek interpret as a modern parallel to the sudden worldwide fascination with Pepe the Frog. This fascination has led to frustration among officials, as exemplified by Hillary Clinton`s declaration of war on Pepe during the 2016 election cycle, and Rachel Maddow`s vilification of the character.

The Bible verse in Revelation 16:13 presents a more ominous tone compared to the verse in Exodus that mentions frogs. It describes three unclean spirits that look like frogs coming from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.

This false prophet could be interpreted as Donald Trump, who many followers of Kek and users on 4chan believed would `make America great again.` However, the verse suggests that Trump may ultimately fall short of glory, either through his own deceitfulness or by succumbing to the manipulation of greater forces at play.

This could be seen as a prophetic warning that Trump may be a false prophet.

Pepe/Keke “Emerges” in Plain Sight on September 11th, 2016

Soon, /pol/’s users were—quite ironically, at first—attributing all strokes of luck for the Trump campaign (and likewise, all strokes of misfortune for the Hillary campaign) to their benevolent frog-headed deity that spoke to them in dubs.

But all of that came to a head on September 11th, 2016, when three major, mind-blowing events transpired within 48 hours of each other. Three events that would change the face of Kek worship forever:

Hillary Clinton fainted or nearly fainted in New York.

Hillary Clinton literally declares Pepe the Frog an enemy of the state with paper-thin reasoning:

`Pepe is a cartoon frog who began his internet life as an innocent meme enjoyed by teenagers and pop stars alike.

But in recent months, Pepe’s been almost entirely co-opted by the white supremacists who call themselves the “alt-right.” They’ve decided to take back Pepe by adding swastikas and other symbols of anti-semitism and white supremacy.`

While all of this was happening, one or a few anonymous 4chan contributors discovered an old track from the 80’s on YouTube. A track stamped all over with a very familiar face:

A B-side vinyl by performer “P. E. P. E.”, sporting a frog with a magic wand.

A frog.
And what’s P. E. P. E. stand for?

  • Point
  • Emerging
  • Probably
  • Entering

The ancient egyptian god of obscurity and chaos Kek “emerges/enters” at “points” of “probability.”

The only explanation for this is the use of Chaos Magick.

one of the core tenets of Chaos Magick practice (the only mainstay, really) is the creation of magic sigils (also called “glyphs”) to “codify and project one’s Will into the Universe.”

Basically, you make an image that represents your “will”  (desire fueled by powerful emotions or altered states) and the universe will take care of the rest.

When a lot of people pool their united willpower towards a single sigil, its called a Hypersigil, and its exponentially more potent.

Pepe/Kek is 4chan’s hypersigil.

Millions of the “little people” that browse 4chan have embedded the image of Pepe with their hatred for Hillary’s alleged corruption, and their hope for Trump’s victory over her in November.

Whether they did this consciously or not, it`s exactly what has happened.

And so far, their hypersigil seems to be working.

Yes, I`m telling you that magic is real, but it`s not what you might think.

It`s not about waving wands, drawing pentagrams, or sacrificing babies.

The real magic comes from the power of human attention and how we perceive reality.

In fact, you`re casting magic right now, and you`re always doing it, whether you realize it or not.

The science of quantum physics is revealing that the way we look at reality shapes it in ways we`re only beginning to fully understand.

Ironically, this is bringing the reality of magic to light, as the quantum realm is showing us that our attention and perception have a profound impact on the world around us.
